Good morning, Vinschool Metropolis family,

Welcome back to school, everyone! I am so happy to see all of your smiling faces and excited eyes.

Last year, our theme was to Learn and to Grow, and I was lucky enough to see this with my own eyes. You learned so many new skills and grew in so many amazing ways—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Metropolis Vinsers always try their best, and that makes me very proud.

This year, I want us to remember three important things: Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Smart.

Be Safe

First, let’s talk about being safe. It’s very important that we all take care of each other and ourselves. This means listening to your teachers, following the rules, and being careful when playing or walking around the school.  Remember, safety isn’t just about avoiding physical harm; it also means feeling happy and comfortable. If you ever feel worried or see someone else who does, don’t hesitate to talk to a teacher or a friend. Let’s make sure our school is a place where everyone feels safe and happy.

Be Kind

Next, let’s focus on being kind. Kindness is like magic; it makes everyone feel good! A kind word or a helping hand can make someone’s day. Whether it’s sharing your toys, saying something nice, or helping a friend who is feeling sad, your kindness can make our school a wonderful place. Remember, being kind is easy and it makes you and others feel great.

Be Smart

Finally, let’s talk about being smart. Every one of you is here to learn new things and grow your brains. Being smart means listening to your teachers, trying your best in your lessons, and never being afraid to ask questions. It also means making good choices, like eating healthy snacks, getting enough sleep, and treating everyone with respect. When you make smart decisions, you help yourself and others have a better day.

As we start this new school year, let’s all remember to Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Smart. These three little rules will help us have the best year ever. Your teachers, friends, and I are all here to help you, so let’s work together to make our school a place where everyone can learn, play, and grow happily.

I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you will do this year. Let’s have a fantastic time, full of joy and discovery. Thank you, and let’s make this year the best one yet!
