At Vinschool, success transcends academic achievement. It is defined by the cultivation of resilience, adaptability, and a profound sense of values – qualities that empower students to become self-reliant architects of their own futures.
The Pastoral Care Program is a strategic cornerstone of the Vinschool experience. It is a comprehensive support ecosystem that seamlessly integrates well-being with intellectual, character, and physical development. Through this program, Vinschool provides a consistent, nurturing framework that ensures every Vinser feels safe and supported throughout their educational journey.
Season 2 of Wellbeing Initiatives has been a journey where students actively identified challenges, proposed solutions, and directly led initiatives to promote school wellbeing within their own campuses and across the wider system.
On May 16, the Top 100 Wellbeing Initiatives Honoring Ceremony under the Wellbeing Initiatives 2025–2026 programme officially took place, marking the conclusion of a 7-month journey with more than 7,100 initiatives registered and over 5,000 initiatives implemented across the entire system.

Pastoral Care is implemented across all Vinschool campuses, from Primary through Secondary. The program is designed flexibly, with content and support tailored to each stage of students’ psychological, emotional, and academic development.
The Center for Student Wellbeing (CSW) leads Pastoral Care at each Vinschool campus. CSW coordinates closely with the School Board, teachers, staff, and families to ensure timely and comprehensive support for every student.
Upon joining Vinschool, every staff member must complete and pass a mandatory test on school safety, including child protection policies, procedures for handling abuse allegations, regulations on physical contact with students, as well as anti-violence and anti-bullying regulations. Vinschool also implements periodic and mandatory training programs for teachers and staff on school safety, child protection, and student mental health care. The training content is built on scientific theoretical frameworks, references international practices, and is updated regularly according to practical needs within the school.
Vinschool uses the Student Wellbeing (SWB) system, a screening and monitoring platform developed and implemented by Vinschool across the system. Through SWB, the school maintains a scientific and confidential database to proactively and continuously monitor students’ mental health development.
Vinschool’s Pastoral Care system operates on a three-tier support model: universal, targeted, and intensive. By combining data from SWB, teacher observations, and parent feedback, CSW can identify early signs of difficulty in students. This enables timely and appropriate interventions, tailored to each student’s needs and implemented at the right moment and intensity.
Through Pastoral Care, students learn in a safe, respectful, and connected environment. They are listened to, understood, and supported in developing academically, emotionally, socially, and personally. The program equips students with self-care skills, resilience, and adaptability, helping them thrive in both school and life.
When a student experiences personal challenges, CSW serves as the main point of contact. CSW receives information, assesses the level of need, and coordinates with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop a personalized support plan. All interventions strictly follow professional procedures to ensure confidentiality, respect, and the best interest of the student.
Parents actively participate through the VinschoolOne app, monitoring wellbeing data and collaborating with teachers and CSW. Their involvement forms a core part of the Pastoral Care system, ensuring that care and support are consistent, effective, and sustainable.
