On December 3, 2025, Vinschool Education System was recognized at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025 – a prestigious international award founded by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the world’s leading university ranking organization. Widely known as the “Oscars of Global Education,” the award celebrates breakthrough educational initiatives with sustainable impact and strong scalability across diverse contexts.

In its very first year participating, Vinschool was honored in the Nurturing Wellbeing & Purpose (K-12) category, standing out among thousands of submissions from educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and edtech enterprises worldwide. All projects underwent rigorous evaluation rounds by a panel of more than 1,300 experts in higher education and educational technology.

Affirming Vietnam’s capacity for educational innovation

This recognition affirms Vinschool’s sustained efforts to place student wellbeing and values-driven development at the heart of its educational strategy. It also marks a significant milestone, demonstrating that educational models developed in Vietnam can fully meet stringent international standards and generate meaningful impact at scale.

Wellbeing Initiatives – a student empowerment model

Vinschool’s representative project, Wellbeing Initiatives, was highly commended for its student-empowerment approach. Instead of being passive recipients of support, students take the lead in proposing solutions to enhance the mental and emotional wellbeing of themselves and their community.

The program is built upon the CSEP Framework (Cognitive, Social, Emotional, and Physical Wellbeing), developed by Vinschool based on the WSCC model from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the OECD’s social–emotional learning principles. The framework is customized to reflect the needs and cultural context of Vietnamese students.

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the program achieved notable outcomes:

  • More than 20,000 students, parents, and teachers engaged
  • 5,509 student-driven wellbeing ideas submitted
  • 2,622 initiatives implemented across 38 campuses

These results strongly align with the QS Reimagine Education Awards’ key criteria for Impact and Scalability.

A new human-centered milestone for Vinschool

The recognition from the QS Reimagine Education Awards marks a meaningful milestone in Vinschool’s journey to cultivate a holistic and nurturing learning environment. The Wellbeing Initiatives program is part of a broader strategy under the system’s comprehensive Pastoral Care Framework, which integrates both emotional care and academic care to support the full development of each student — from emotional and behavioral wellbeing to social relationships, life skills, personal values, and academic growth.
