Vinschool Preschoolers Explore Global Cultural Diversity

Friday, 20/10/2023, 15:10 (GMT+7)

During Culture Week at Vinschool Preschool, our young Vinsers had the remarkable opportunity to embark on a journey to explore the rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and traditional customs from around the world. They engaged in a multitude of immersive activities that broadened their horizons.

The Vinsers radiated with enthusiasm as they donned traditional attire from various countries, discovering the unique cultural heritage that each nation holds dear. This experience fostered engaging discussions about the concept of cultural diversity.

The children not only relished the chance to wear traditional costumes from different countries but also dived into the cultures and cuisines of those nations.

Teachers encouraged the students to explore human diversity, such as variations in hair color, eye color, skin tone, and the distinct daily practices of different ethnic groups within various cultural backgrounds.

The children took great pleasure in ‘transforming’ themselves into young natives, providing an opportunity to understand the lives and customs of indigenous people.

The differences among countries worldwide were further highlighted through language, cuisine, unique architectural structures, and creative artistic products.

Learning about the signature dishes of each country allowed the children to appreciate the unique culinary aspects of each nation.

Culture Week equips Vinsers with vital 21st-century skills, including creative thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and a deep understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. Developing these skills from a young age lays a strong foundation for their future, enabling them to thrive and succeed in life.
