[ALUMNI CORNER] Phạm Trần Yên Đan – From a Media-Enthusiast Vinser to a 100% Scholarship Recipient at Yuan Ze University

Continuing our series of introducing talented Vinser alumni, Vinschool proudly presents Phạm Trần Yên Đan – a student majoring in Communication Strategy at Yuan Ze University, ranked among the Top 12 universities in Taiwan
  • Full scholarship recipient in Communication Strategy at Yuan Ze University – ranked among the Top 12 universities in Taiwan.
  • Former Head of Communications for Vinschool Magazine, Eloquentia Club, and Vinschool Ocean Park Sports Club.

Outstanding since Grade 12, Yên Đan secured 13 scholarships from 7 countries, including a Turkish Government full scholarship, Shanghai University, Yuan Ze University, and prestigious offers from renowned universities in South Korea, Japan, Spain, and Vietnam.

Reflecting on her passion for media, Yên Đan shared that her love for the field was nurtured through hands-on experiences as a Vinschool student. As the Head of the Media Team for various school events, she developed skills in personnel coordination, partner communication, and strategic media planning.

“By collaborating with my peers to produce engaging content and creating media products that reached tens of thousands across diverse projects such as Vinschool Magazine and the promotional campaign for Vinschool Ocean Park Sports Clubs, I discovered my strengths and passion for media and resolved to pursue this field,” Yên Đan revealed.

Extracurricular activities at Vinschool, coupled with career orientation programs from Grade 10 and an internship in Grade 11 at THELEADER, an e-magazine for business leaders, helped Yên Đan hone essential soft skills, solidify her career goals, and gain early exposure to real-world media work. These experiences laid a solid foundation for her successful application for a 100% scholarship in Communication Strategy at Yuan Ze University.

Choosing to study in Taiwan, Yên Đan faced initial challenges adapting to a new lifestyle and multicultural environment, studying in the international program alongside peers from various countries. However, within just half a year, she transitioned from being an inexperienced freshman to a confident, independent individual. Beyond academics, Yên Đan actively sought valuable opportunities in NGO projects and participated in school events, further enhancing her professional skills and expanding her international network of friends.

Looking ahead, Yên Đan aspires to become a media expert in the global market. We wish her continued success on her journey to excel in the international media field and to create meaningful impacts for the community!
