In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), Vinschool Smart City Primary School organized a meaningful series of educational activities to help students better understand and take pride in the nation’s history.

Spreading Patriotism Through Music
Beginning on April 22, the spirit of patriotism could be felt throughout the school as students were welcomed each day with inspiring melodies that honor the beauty of the homeland. These simple yet powerful songs helped spark national pride in a way that was close to the students’ hearts.

Learning History Through Documentary Films
During the first 15 minutes of class each day throughout the week, Vinsers watched documentary clips about Vietnam’s path to independence, with a focus on the historic event of April 30, 1975. These realistic and moving visuals gave students a deeper understanding of the nation’s struggles and sacrifices, and a renewed appreciation for the peace and unity they enjoy today.

Celebrating Vietnamese Spirit with a Vibrant Flashmob
One of the highlights of the commemorative week was a dynamic Flashmob performance held on April 29. Dressed in the proud red colors of the national flag, the entire student body came together in a spirited dance to the song “Hào Khí Việt Nam” (Vietnamese Heroic Spirit). It was a powerful, pride-filled moment that celebrated the resilience and unity of the Vietnamese people.

Through this meaningful series of events, Vinsers didn’t just learn history from books — they were able to relive the nation’s heroic past in a vibrant and memorable way. These experiences helped plant the seeds of patriotism, foster a sense of responsibility toward the community and the country, and build a strong foundation for becoming globally minded citizens who carry the spirit of Vietnam wherever they go.
