Vinsers at Vinschool Imperia secondary and high school showcase their talent in robot programming and creativity during the Steam Fair 2024

Last February, Vinsers (students at Vinschool Imperia Secondary and High School) had the opportunity to enhance their capabilities in science and technology, integrating theoretical knowledge of mathematics, science, technology, and art into experiential activities, while developing a scientific mindset and working “like a scientist” at the STEAM FAIR event.

The event consisted of 9 STEAM experiential booths and the first-ever Robot Innovation Competition held at Vinschool Imperia, with the participation of 16 teams from grades 6 to 12, helping Vinsers foster thinking and improve skills.

Showcase programming talent and problem-solving skills by controlling various types of robots such as autonomous, semi-autonomous, programming,etc to carry out tasks of transporting blocks to the correct location on the map within a limited time frame.

Foster technological thinking and design artistic products through creative activities such as product creation from colored paper, LEGO assembly, MICRO BIT – ARDUINO game design.

Enhance mathematical thinking, logical reasoning through Origami paper folding and the design of self-balancing dragonflies, experience SMART ART and Spirograph design, assemble smart elevators, and Marshmallow Catapult.

Apply scientific knowledge to practice through activities such as making racing car and airplane models from simple tools, and crafting mini robots from cardboard.

“STEAM FAIR has provided us with many valuable experiences. We not only participated in many experiential activities at the booths, creating our own products, but also competed in the Robot Innovation Competition.” – Hoàng Văn Nguyên Hải, a student of class 8A7 shared.

STEAM FAIR is an annual intellectually stimulating and appealing playground led by the Science Department, the Mathematics Department, and the Talent Department of Imperia Secondary and High School. The event provides an opportunity for all Vinsers at Vinschool Imperia High School to unleash their creativity and enhance their capabilities in STEAM fields, becoming talented scientists of the future.
