With the desire to allow students to connect knowledge with practical experience, Vinschool Imperia Kindergarten has integrated a field trip to visit the Naval Museum into the project “My favorite means of transport”. Through this project, our young Vinsers have had the opportunity to form and develop a combination of many skills:

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Children had learned “how to create their own book on the topic of means of transportation?” from the previous weeks. From there, they work together to build the steps of completing that book.

Intentional observation skills

After building the making-book steps, the young Vinsers went to the Naval Museum together to observe more types of transportation: helicopters, and tanks. , ships,… then collect more information for their “book writing” mission.

Information synthesis skills

At the end of the field trip, children describe what they have observed by drawing their favorite means of transport in the book. “Making a report” has helped them consolidate their knowledge about the names, characteristics, and operating locations of those types of vehicles.

Presentation skills

All young Vinsers were allowed to share and present their products. This helps children develop their confidence and coherent language.

Binh An’s mom in Alvin A1 shared: “The lessons are not narrowed, the children have the opportunity to experience reality, and since then I have noticed that my child is more confident and proactive in activities.

Along with that, the parent of Luu Ngoc Diep in Alvin 5, shared: “This trip helps the children understand different types of transportation. The children were able to draw what impressed them during the visit, thereby promoting their own creativity and eagerness to learn.”
