Vietnam Studies Assembly: “Festivals of Our Homeland”

On the afternoon of February 26, 2025, the Grade 3 students had an exciting and meaningful Assembly with the theme “Festivals of Our Homeland.” This was a wonderful opportunity for them to explore Vietnam’s traditional festivals while showcasing their creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

Right from the start, the young students transformed into charming MCs, enthusiastically introducing the exciting journey of exploring festival culture

One of the highlights of the program was the play “Saint Gióng,” which the students themselves performed and staged. With outstanding acting, they vividly brought to life this legendary tale—from the moment the village boy Gióng transformed into a mighty warrior to his heroic charge on an iron horse to defeat the invaders. Their performance truly captured the spirit of one of Vietnam’s most heroic legends!

The excitement didn’t stop there! The students also delivered a captivating dance performance to the rhythmic melodies of traditional Vietnamese instruments in “Tính tịch tình tang,” bringing the vibrant spirit of festival days to life. ??

Additionally, their colorful paintings, creative models, and insightful presentations about various traditional festivals added depth and richness to the Assembly, making it an unforgettable cultural experience! ??✨

After the impressive performances, the students eagerly joined in traditional folk games such as tug of war, bamboo dance, and ô ăn quan. ?✨ The sound of joyful laughter and enthusiastic cheers filled the air, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere, just like a true traditional festival!

The Assembly may have ended, but the joy and valuable lessons about traditional culture will remain in the hearts of every Vinser.
