Tuesday, 13/08/2024, 09:08 (GMT)

Following the first session of the summer journey, “Self-Discovery – Every Child is a Miracle”, the second session has concluded with meaningful nature exploration activities.

The young Vinsers at Vinschool Metropolis Kindergarten have been equipped with the necessary tools to become “Earth warriors” in this session: “Journey to Explore Nature”.

During the “Exchange Batteries/Paper for Green Plants” activity, the children learned about the importance of collecting batteries to reduce toxic waste in the environment and gained insights into paper recycling. In total, 3,612 batteries and 563 kg of scrap paper were collected. This activity not only brought joy but also gave the children an opportunity to participate in practical environmental protection efforts.

Additionally, the little friends used discarded materials such as paper, cardboard, fabric scraps, combined with drawing, cutting, tearing, pasting, and embellishing skills to create impressive and unique outfits for the “Recycled Fashion Collection” activity. We eagerly await the special fashion show by these young models in the final chapter of this colorful summer journey.

The “Green Shirt Festival” held in mid-July created an impressive green space with outfits in various shades of green. This color represents freshness, natural energy, and positivity. By wearing green shirts together, the children aimed to convey a message about joining hands to protect our green planet – humanity’s shared home.

Furthermore, the “Protect the Earth” Poster Exhibition featured charming posters with the message “Protect our friend, the Green Earth”, conceived and created by the little hands of the young Vinsers. Though small in scale, this activity carried great significance as the children helped spread the green message to everyone.

The final activity of the Summer journey was an unforgettable field trip for the little Vinsers to VinWonders Water Park. The children immersed themselves in the lively and cheerful summer atmosphere with exciting experiences such as swimming, playing with balls in the water, and digging in the sand.

The engaging series of activities in the second phase of the summer journey provided the children with opportunities to explore the wondrous natural world and nurture each young Vinser’s love for our shared home – Earth. Let’s look forward to the exciting things awaiting us in phase 3: Exploring Science!
