Wellbeing Initiatives 2025–2026: From Student Ideas To A Model For Promoting School Wellbeing

Tuesday, 17/03/2026, 18:03 (GMT+7)

Since the launch of Season 2 in September 2025, Wellbeing Initiatives has evolved beyond a platform for student ideas into a developing model that promotes school wellbeing in a more systematic way. Many initiatives “made by Vinsers” have expanded beyond a single campus, being implemented across multiple schools and connecting students throughout the Vinschool system.

Starting from solutions rooted in students’ real-life experiences, the program demonstrates an effective approach: empowering students to become active agents in shaping wellbeing within their own school communities.

From school-based initiatives to an inter-school implementation network

A key breakthrough of Wellbeing Initiatives Season 2 is the “initiative packaging and transfer” mechanism across campuses within the system.

While Season 1 mainly focused on students developing and implementing initiatives within their own schools, Season 2 sees student innovators taking on the role of model facilitators. They develop implementation toolkits, share practical experiences, and support other schools in adapting initiatives to fit their specific contexts.

Within this model, students remain at the center of the innovation process. Supporting them are School Psychology Specialists who review initiatives, standardize materials, and connect professional networks; along with teacher mentors who help refine the content and ensure the resources needed for implementation. This approach not only helps scale up the initiatives but also creates opportunities for Vinsers to develop leadership, communication, collaboration, and community problem-solving skills.

“Seeing our class initiative ‘The Sealing Box – Leave Your Worries Behind’ adopted by students at Vinschool Metropolis and Vinschool Thăng Long makes me very happy. By writing down our worries and placing them in the ‘Sealing Box’ before class, we can temporarily set aside negative thoughts and focus on learning. I realized that even a small idea, when trusted and shared, can create positive change for many others.”
— Vinser Đào Mỹ Anh (Vinschool Metropolis)

Expanding impact and sharing the model with the wider education community

Building on its practical foundation at Vinschool, Wellbeing Initiatives is now demonstrating its potential to extend beyond the system. The model has been shared with and implemented at the Xanh Tuệ Đức School System in Hà Nội and Quảng Ninh.

As the initiator and professional advisor, Vinschool accompanies Xanh Tuệ Đức through the process—from sharing experiences and guiding the organization process to reviewing initiatives—helping adapt the model to fit the culture and needs of each school.

After just two months of implementation, the Xanh Tuệ Đức School System recorded nearly 250 wellbeing initiatives proposed by over 350 students aged 7–14, creating direct impact for more than 1,500 teachers, students, and parents. These results highlight the potential for Wellbeing Initiatives to spread—a model where students become the drivers of school wellbeing, contributing to a more connected, empathetic, and sustainable learning environment.

“Wellbeing Initiatives has encouraged the proactive spirit of students at Xanh Tuệ Đức School, while helping teachers strengthen their role as facilitators and supporters—creating space for students to express their perspectives, experiment with ideas, and develop the confidence to speak up and take action. I believe Wellbeing Initiatives will open a long-term journey for students to keep learning and growing every day.”
— Ms. Nguyễn Phương Thảo, Lead of the Social-Emotional Learning Project at Xanh Tuệ Đức School

In the 2024–2025 academic year, Vinschool launched the School Wellbeing Initiatives program for the first time under the theme “Wellbeing for Better Learning.” The program not only raised awareness but also encouraged concrete actions to support mental wellbeing within the school community.

In its very first season, the program recorded more than 5,500 registered initiatives, with 2,622 initiatives implemented in practice, engaging nearly 21,000 students, teachers, and parents. These efforts helped widely promote the importance of mental wellbeing across the entire Vinschool system.

With the Wellbeing Initiatives project, Vinschool was recently honored in the “Nurturing Wellbeing & Purpose” category (K–12) at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025—a prestigious international award often described as the “Oscars of global education.” The award was established by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, one of the world’s leading higher education ranking organizations.
