Vinschool – VinUni scholarship from high school to university

In order to attract and invest in talents, for the first time in Viet Nam, Vinschool education and VinUni recently announced a long-term scholarship program for students from high school to university levels. Outstanding students in 10th and 11th grade from all over the country are now eligible to receive a full scholarship for 3 years at Vinschool high schools and 4 years at VinUni, among other assistant programs.

The Vinschool – VinUni scholarship is an annual scholarship program starting from the school year 2019-2020. The number of actual scholarships depends on students’ capacity and is capped at a maximum 25 full scholarships for the 3-year high school program at Vinschool, and ten 50-100% scholarships at VinUni. Students who receive a VinUni scholarship must meet VinUni’s scholarship requirements at the time of application.

Outstanding students in cities where Vinschool has yet to have a presence (Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong) are also eligible for board and accommodation assistance (at VinUni dormitories) while pursuing high school studies at Vinschool in Ha Noi.

Aside from receiving their long-term scholarship in the Vinschool – VinUni scholarship program, students will also gain access to a highly specialized, individualized curriculum, be eligible to receive talent training and orientation counseling with specialists in order to meet VinUni’s rigorous admission requirements – comparable to other world-leading universities, i.e.:

  • At Vinschool high school, students take part in designing their highly individualized curriculum, allowing students the flexibility to pursue their fields of interest; education pathways and career orientations from Vinschool guidance counselors are also available.
  • Take part in a highly-specialized curriculum based on an individuals’ strengths at the GATE Center; Take part in talent development programs at the Center for Talented Youths (CTY) set up by Johns Hopkins University (USA) – after students have passed screening and admission reviews from the GATE Center and CTY.
  • Academic and foreign language excellence (minimum goal of IELTS 6.5), personal skills, international academic testing certification (minimum of 1300 on the SAT). Students will also be able to take part in prestigious, global academic competitions, conduct their own scientific research, or get involved in creative projects…
  • One-on-one career orientation and counseling with Professors at VinUni or VinUni affiliated institutions (some are among the World’s Top 20 Universities). Students will also receive one-on-one counseling from VinUni’s staff and admission board, as well as taking part in VinUni’s special seminars/programs for high school students.

Interested students should submit applications for the 2019 – 2020 scholarship program to Vinschool before June 25, 2019.
