Vinschool Sports Newsletter January – April 2023
Students' sports training is ongoing and improved by Vinschool, during all students’ time in school. This has helped Vinsers to have a lot of success, across a variety of competitions, in the first few months of 2023, as evidenced by these outstanding sports accomplishments.
In addition to classroom instruction, Vinschool students are constantly encouraged to compete in intraschool and interschool sports events in order to improve their physical fitness, mental capabilities, cultivate their spirit, and establish healthy lifestyle habits. Let’s have a look at some of the great accomplishments on the field, on the pitch, on the court, in the pool and on the board, that Vinsers have achieved so far this year.
Vinschool The Harmony
When Vinser athletes of Vinschool compete in basketball for the first time in 2023, it will be viewed as a hopeful year as it produced a number of noteworthy accomplishments in the following fields:
- Champion at the Men’s Basketball Championship at the Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament.
- Gold Medal for Women’s Basketball at the Long Bien District Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament
- Silver Medal for Men’s Basketball at the Long Bien District Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament.
Besides excellent achievements in Basketball, the Vinsers from Vinschool The Harmony also showcased outstanding sportsmanship by winning many prestigious prizes in Sports and Board Tournaments at the district and city levels:
- Hanoi Student Swimming Prize 2023: 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medals.
- Hanoi Student Chess Prize 2023: 1 gold medal.
- Hanoi Student Badminton Award: 2 bronze medals.
- Long Bien District Student Swimming Prize 2023: 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medals, 2 silver medals.
- Long Bien District Student Chess Prize 2023: 1 gold medal.
Vinschool Times City
For Vinschool Times City Junior High School, March will always be remembered as the month when the men’s basketball team won the bronze medal in the Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament in 2023, and the women’s basketball team won the championship for the first time.
Additionally, Vinschool Times City’s Vinsers excelled in noteworthy accomplishments in other city-level sports competitions.
- Hanoi City Student Swimming Prize: 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals.
- Hanoi Student Badminton Award: 1 silver medal
- Northern Karate Championships: 1 bronze medal
Vinschool Metropolis
Teachers and students of Vinschool Metropolis High School actively competed in a range of Sports and Board events, and they were rewarded with honourable achievements in District-level competitions.
- Hanoi Student Basketball Tournament 2023: Junior Men’s Championship
- Hanoi Youth Championship (VSBL): Second Team Award
- Swimming tournament for students in Ba Dinh district in the school year 2022 – 2023: 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 11 third prizes
- Ba Dinh District Student Basketball Tournament 2022 – 2023: 2 First Prize Team (Women and Men)
- Ba Dinh District Student Badminton Award in the school year 2022 – 2023: 4 second prizes, 3 third prizes
- Football tournament of Ba Dinh District in the school year 2022 – 2023: Third prize of teammates
- Chess Prize of Ba Dinh District in the school year 2022 – 2023: First prize individually, Second prize and Third prize team
Vinschool Central Park, Ho Chi Minh City
Vinsers of Vinschool Central Park Primary School, Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City has achieved many achievements at district and city level sports competitions.
Binh Thanh District Student Sports and Board Tournaments in the school year 2022 – 2023:
- Athletics: 1 gold medal
- Chess: 1 gold medal
- Table Tennis: 9 bronze medals
- Chinese chess: 6 bronze medals
Ho Chi Minh City Student Basketball Tournament 2023: Bronze Medal
Vinschool Ocean Park
At the Hanoi High School Swimming Tournament in the 2022–2023 academic year, Vinsers from Vinschool Ocean Park High School competed in the women’s 50-metre freestyle and won the silver medal.
Vinschool Smart City
In the basketball competition held in the Nam Tu Liem district in 2023, the faculty and students of Vinschool Smart City High School’s basketball team did exceptionally well and took home silver medals.
By competing in big sports events, Vinsers get the chance to interact with other athletes both inside and outside the system, improving their competitive abilities and showcasing their fearlessness. We hope Vinsers will continue to leave their mark with greater success and noteworthy outcomes in the future
