VINFORMATION 2026 Grand Final: Top 8 Outstanding Works Telling The Story Of Vietnam Through The Thinking And Technology Of The Digital Age
Recently, the VINFORMATION 2026 Grand Final officially concluded, marking the end of an energetic two-month journey of its 4th season under the theme “Vietnam’s ‘Building Blocks’ in the Digital Age.” From 102 student projects submitted by high school students nationwide, the Top 8 outstanding teams gathered at the Grand Final to present and defend their works before a panel of judges comprising experts in culture, publishing, and media.
Continuing its mission to create an innovative academic playground for students passionate about social sciences, VINFORMATION 2026 not only encourages learners to explore history, culture, and national identity, but also fosters research skills, systems thinking, and content creation capabilities in the context of digital transformation. Throughout the competition, participants worked closely with experts in publishing and content development to gradually refine their projects—from identifying research questions and building narrative structures to developing final products.
At the Grand Final, the teams showcased highly polished works in diverse formats such as printed books, interactive e-books, multimedia products, and digital knowledge platforms. Many projects demonstrated an interdisciplinary approach, connecting cultural values with contemporary contexts while effectively leveraging digital tools and AI to enhance content experiences. Beyond their presentations, teams also engaged in Q&A and defense sessions before the judging panel, demonstrating strong argumentation skills, critical thinking, and structured, persuasive information organization.

“As a judge at the Grand Final, I was truly moved and delighted to witness the students’ research capacity, systems thinking, and content creation abilities. What impressed me most was how they went beyond a competition format to deeply explore the core values of Vietnamese history and culture, showing sincere respect for traditional heritage in the context of the digital age,” shared Colonel – Journalist Hoang Thi Thu Hoan, Head of Culture, Sports and Entertainment Department, Military Radio and Television Center.

As a creative book competition for secondary and high school students nationwide, VINFORMATION opens an academic space where young creators are guided to research, analyze, and tell stories about Vietnamese society, culture, and people through the lens of a new generation.
In its fourth season, the competition adopts the theme “Vietnam’s ‘Building Blocks’ in the Digital Age,” encouraging students to approach Vietnam as a living subject of research within the context of digital transformation—where historical and cultural values are preserved, reinterpreted, and continued through new forms of expression. Students are given the freedom to create and choose diverse formats, including printed books, interactive e-books, digital publications, digital maps, virtual exhibitions/museums, and multimedia products.
