VINFORMATION Launches Its 4th Season: A Creative Book-Making Platform – Telling Vietnam’s Stories In The Digital Age

Friday, 06/02/2026, 08:02 (GMT+7)

Continuing its mission to nurture students’ research capacity and academic creativity, VINFORMATION 2026 – a nationwide book-creation competition for lower and upper secondary school students – is officially launched.

Entering its 4th season, VINFORMATION 2026 continues to serve as an academic platform where young creators are guided through the processes of research, analysis, and storytelling, exploring Vietnamese society, culture, and people through a contemporary lens.

According to UNESCO, digital technology is profoundly transforming how people access, engage with, and experience culture. Against this backdrop, VINFORMATION 2026 introduces the theme “Vietnamese ‘Mosaic Pieces’ in the Digital Age”, creating opportunities for students to explore the beauty of Vietnam as a dynamic research subject in the digital era—where historical and cultural values are preserved, carried forward, and adapted within technological environments; and where Vietnamese people shape their lifestyles, personal identities, and civic roles in a digital society.

By selecting specific “mosaic pieces” from social life, culture, education, as well as the choices and aspirations of young people, students are encouraged to conduct in-depth research, develop content, and present ideas using language, structure, and formats aligned with contemporary contexts. Each project not only reflects academic and educational value, but also embodies personal perspectives, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility toward the issues facing Vietnamese society in the digital age.

BY PARTICIPATING IN VINFORMATION 2026, STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Apply social science knowledge combined with digital thinking to research, analyze, and interpret Vietnamese historical, cultural, and social issues through the lens of the digital era.
  • Develop research skills and critical thinking through data collection, content development, argument structuring, and academic storytelling.
  • Creatively and freely choose presentation formats such as traditional printed books, e-books, interactive digital books, digital maps, virtual exhibitions/museums, and multimedia products.
  • Enhance writing, editing, and content production skills through mentorship and feedback from experts in publishing, journalism, and digital content development throughout the competition.
  • Connect with a community of like-minded students, nurture a love for Vietnamese culture, and foster a shared commitment to spreading Vietnamese values through the creative thinking of the younger generation.
