Series Of Workshops “Your Digital Companion – Surf Safely Online” – Vinschool Students Spread The Message Of The “Not Alone” Campaign
Throughout October, as part of the nationwide “Not Alone – Together for Online Safety” campaign, Vinschool organized a series of workshops titled “Your Digital Companion – Surf Safely Online” for Secondary students across the system.
These sessions equipped students with essential knowledge and skills to identify and prevent online risks such as grooming, manipulation, cyberbullying, and digital exploitation. Guided by their teachers, students were encouraged to share real-life experiences, discuss case scenarios, and explore positive, safe responses when using social media and digital tools.
During each workshop, students engaged in a variety of interactive and hands-on activities, such as analyzing simulated online risk situations, discussing the “3 Don’ts – 3 Dos” principle in handling incidents, and identifying warning signs of grooming or online abduction. Through these experiences, they not only strengthened their understanding of online safety but also developed critical thinking, fact-checking skills, and a sense of responsibility in digital communication.
The “Not Alone” campaign continues to spread powerfully across the Vinschool community through creative learning and practice activities, helping students become more proactive and resilient in their journey toward becoming responsible digital citizens.
