Vinschool Launches Drawing And Essay Contest In Response To The “Not Alone – Together For Online Safety” Campaign

Continuing the series of activities under the “Not Alone” campaign, Vinschool has launched a Drawing and Essay Contest themed “No One Alone – Together for Online Safety” for Secondary and High School students across the system. The contest aims to raise awareness and equip students with essential digital safety skills while fostering a spirit of building a positive, humane, and trustworthy online environment.

CATEGORIES: Students may choose the format that best suits their strengths while staying aligned with the contest theme:

  • Essay: Maximum 800 words in Vietnamese, decorated or illustrated, and not previously published on any platform.
  • Drawing: Hand-drawn on A3 paper with clear composition; the artwork must not have been displayed, published, or submitted to any exhibitions, books, or media platforms.

BY JOINING THE CONTEST, STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Express their perspectives and reflections on the digital world through diverse creative forms, delivering meaningful messages and calls to action for a safe and inclusive online space.
  • Develop critical thinking and personal expression through observation, analysis, and creative storytelling with positive messages.
  • Become digital storytellers who help raise community awareness about online safety — embodying the true spirit of the “Not Alone” campaign.

CONTEST INFORMATION:

  • Participants: Students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 across the Vinschool system
  • Submission: Send entries following your school’s instructions
  • Total prizes: Up to 21 million VND
  • Submission deadline: October 29, 2025

  • The Jury’s decisions are final regarding all winning entries.
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to retain and use all submitted works for communication purposes; entries will not be returned. Copyrights of submitted works belong to the Contest Organizing Committee.

In response to the Hanoi Convention on Combating Cybercrime, the “Not Alone” campaign is a nationwide initiative by the Digital Trust Alliance, under the auspices of the United Nations (UNODC, UNICEF) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, the National Cybersecurity Association, and the People’s Committee of Hanoi. The campaign aims to equip students with digital literacy and online safety skills, build a trustworthy cyberspace, and strengthen their ability to use technology and AI responsibly. It also contributes to fostering a safe and compassionate school environment, reinforcing the partnership between schools, families, and society in digital safety education.
