Compulsory Education program – The standard/ advanced programs

The standard and the advanced programs combine the Vinschool 5-in-1 comprehensive education curriculum with the English program standardized by CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) – a provider of the most prestigious certificates and diplomas in English teaching and learning to teachers and students worldwide.

The standard program (in Hanoi) and the advanced program (in Ho Chi Minh City) have the same curriculum structure.  However, the difference between the two curriculums is the number of students per a class, the total class hours per week as well as the English class hours, more specifically, the number of hours with native English teachers.

• For the 5-in-1 comprehensive curriculum, students are equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills to succeed in the high school graduation examinations and pass the domestic entrance examinations. These skills will help them in their future careers.

• The Cambridge program with 8 English periods per week (for the Standard program) and 12 English periods per week (for the Advanced program) helps students improve their English language proficiency for real life contexts.

The Vinschool comprehensive curriculum (Grade 1-Grade 12)

The Vinschool comprehensive curriculum is designed on a basis of the Ministry of Education’s national compulsory education curriculum  and integrating interdisciplinary subjects to focus on practice, enhancing experiences to help students understand and apply their knowledge to real life context. The curriculum also aims to develop students’ learning passion, self-studying skills and critical thinking skills.

At the end of Grade 5, Grade 9 and Grade 12, students graduate with diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Education.

The Cambridge English Language Program (Grade 1 – Grade 12)

The Cambridge English language program develops students’ capacity to practice using English in the 4 main skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing; teaching students to apply the language in real life contexts. The Cambridge English language program at Vinschool is supported by a lot of further projects and activities for students, and learning aids such as e-learning programs, reading projects, etc.
