  • The Coordinated Sciences curriculum is meticulously designed with a clear emphasis on the seamless transition between knowledge acquisition and the development of scientific research skills.

In grades 1-8, the program places a strong emphasis on skill mastery, integrating exploratory activities and simple experiments with fundamental scientific knowledge. These activities serve as the foundational elements for the initial development of research skills, fostering students’ passion for science, confidence, and a sense of connection to the natural world.

As students progress into grades 9-10, a balanced blend emerges between skill development and knowledge acquisition. Skill development takes center stage, focusing on practical experimentations that serve as illustrations for expanded and in-depth scientific knowledge. This approach not only fosters self-discovery but also encourages students to employ various tools to actively engage with the intricacies of the natural world, unveiling its underlying laws.
