Workshop On Implementing Injury Prevention For Primary School Students
In mid-April 2024, the Workshop on Implementing Injury Prevention for Primary School Students took place at the Multipurpose Hall of Vinschool Times City T36 Primary School. The event attracted numerous parents, students, teachers, and school staff.
At the beginning of the workshop, the presenter, Master Nguyễn Minh Thắng from the Vietnam Academy of Science, shared that the main goal of the program is to train and practice safety skills to prevent injuries, aiming to protect children from daily hazards. Additionally, the program equips parents with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle situations related to injuries in everyday life.
The main topics shared during the workshop included:
- Emergency evacuation skills in the event of a fire
- Skills for preventing electric shocks.
- Skills for preventing fires and explosions.
- Basic first-aid skills
- Skills for preventing drowning.
After the presentation of the main topics of the workshop, parents, students, and school staff engaged in a Q&A session where they sought clarification on common injury scenarios and the correct procedures for handling them, as guided by the Vietnam Academy of Science.
In the final moments of the program, Ms. Bùi Thu Thủy, Principal of Vinschool Times City T36 Primary School and representative of the school administration, took the stage to express gratitude to the parents, students, teachers, and staff who attended the workshop. Ms. Thủy also extended deep appreciation to presenter Nguyễn Minh Thắng for imparting practical and effective knowledge on injury prevention to primary school students through this program.
