Vinser Wins First Prize in the “Vietnamese Youth – Global Citizen” Playground 2024
Excelling among 60,497 contestants, Nguyen Tra My has won first prize in the “Vietnamese Youth – Global Citizen” playground, becoming the Global Citizen Ambassador of Vietnamese youth to participate in the International Youth Summer Camp in Japan.
On the evening of June 25, in Quy Nhon City, the Central Youth Union Council, the Vietnam Children’s Support and Development Center, the Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union Council, and the OKO Language Center jointly organized the national finals of the “Vietnamese Youth – Global Citizen” playground.
Although this is the first time it has been held, the “Vietnamese Youth – Global Citizen” playground has attracted 60,497 young members and teenagers from across the country. This is quite an impressive number, affirming its appeal and suitability for the learning and training needs of the students, as well as equipping them with knowledge and skills, preparing them confidently for an integrated world.
The “Vietnamese Youth – Global Citizen” playground was launched in November 2023, targeting young members and teenagers aged 11-15, studying in secondary schools or the secondary level of multi-level schools nationwide.
After the preliminary round with 350 participants who continued to take on challenges , the organizers selected the 20 most outstanding contestants from the semi-finals to compete in the national finals held in Binh Dinh. The six best contestants in the finals were chosen to participate in the ranking finals of the playground. They went through segments such as situational questions, Q&A, and common questions, with each contestant having to answer within 30 seconds..
As a result, the organizers awarded the first prize to Nguyen Tra My, a student of class 7B1 at Vinschool Times City Secondary School. Her prize includes a certificate of merit from the Central Youth Union Council, a summer camp course in Japan for students and parents worth 250 million VND, and 5 million VND in cash.
During her studies at Vinschool Timescity High School, Tra My has always made efforts in her studies and extracurricular activities, leaving a deep mark in the school community, not only with remarkable academic achievements but also with spirit of participating in positive and dynamic activities.
