Super starters – Young scriptwriters in the making

Monday, 19/01/2026, 16:01 (GMT)

On day 7, the Super Starters classroom turned into a mini creative studio, where each child had the chance to step into the role of a young scriptwriter. The students began learning how to generate ideas, arrange plot details, and tell a complete story in their own way.

The day started with Circle Time, a moment for students to reconnect with their emotions and work together to arrange picture cards in the correct story sequence. Through this activity, children practiced logical thinking, understanding order (beginning – middle – end), and expressing ideas more clearly and coherently.

In the English lesson, students took on the Story Scramble challenge. Not only did they put pictures in the right order, but they also practiced retelling the story in English using linking words such as first, next, then, and finally. This helped develop their language skills and build confidence when speaking in front of their peers.

During group discussions, individual ideas were connected to create a storyboard – a visual script. This activity supported teamwork skills and helped students learn how to collaboratively build a shared story.

The classroom atmosphere became even more energetic in Physical Education, as stories were “retold” through movement. Through relay games, students practiced remembering story content, reacting quickly, and expressing ideas using body language, making learning more natural and engaging.

The day ended with stories full of personal touches. The Super Starters not only learned how to tell stories, but also gradually developed scriptwriting thinking, communication skills, and the confidence to express themselves.
