Follow Bunny to explore the ESL lesson with the topic “Rooms in the house” from Bambi Vinsers at Vinschool Imperia kindergarten.

The activity “Welcome to my house” gave the children exciting learning moments and helped them practice their listening, speaking, and using English language skills.

With the main pedagogical method applied “contextualized teaching and learning”, the children experienced, practiced, and directly interacted with English vocabulary and sentence structures in the real context which helped to increase students’ interest in learning activities.

The 3-year-old children learned new words such as “kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom…” and how to answer the question “What is this” by saying “This is the living room. This is the kitchen. This is the bathroom. This is the bedroom” to introduce the rooms in the house. In addition to English language skills, children also practiced social skills in class: Role-playing activities have encouraged Vinsers to participate in group work and develop communication skills with teachers and friends.
