Friday, 03/01/2025, 17:01 (GMT)

On December 20th, the Student Council successfully hosted the Holly Jolly Show, a Christmas music night, at the football field of Vinschool Grand Park Secondary and High School. This annual event is eagerly anticipated and enthusiastically embraced by students across the school.

The event featured Christmas-themed games, a tea break station with drinks, and cookies shaped like iconic Christmas symbols such as Santa Claus, snowflakes, and gift boxes, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the students.

Notably, the artistic performances were delivered not only by students from the school but also by art clubs from various high schools and universities across the city, adding diversity and excitement to the event.

The $G$ dance group from RMIT University brought an electrifying atmosphere with their masterful performance skills.

Meanwhile, the Swizic Club from Swinburne University, making their second appearance at the Holly Jolly Show, once again energized the stage with their lively and dynamic songs.

The music club from Fulbright University transported the audience into a theatrical ambiance with performances of renowned international songs.

Meanwhile, the Đô Music Club from Gia Định High School captivated the audience with their simplicity and warmth.

This year’s Holly Jolly Show featured significant contributions from student-led clubs at Vinschool Grand Park, including the Imissed Dance Club, GP Tunes Music Club, and VinVoice MC Club.

In addition, the music night provided an opportunity for classes with outstanding performances during the pre-event casting to showcase their talents. Some notable acts included the Sleeping Fairy dance group from Class 8A3, the Super Girl dance group from Class 7A9, and the 8Rayz vocal group from Class 9B1.

A remarkable moment came during the performance by the Sleeping Fairy group from Class 8A3

The evening also provided an opportunity for the Student Council to present awards for the Shooting Star contest – a photography competition themed “Dreams.” After nearly two months of launching and organizing, the contest recognized three outstanding young photographers who achieved the top prizes:

  • First Prize: Trần Hữu Anh Khoa – Vinschool Golden River
  • Second Prize: Đinh Nhật Khang – Vinschool Central Park
  • Third Prize: Nguyễn Trần Đan Anh – Vinschool Grand Park

The award-winning photographs from the contest will be compiled into a book and sold to raise funds. Additionally, the Student Council has pledged to donate 70% of the profits from this year’s event to the HandsOn Fund—a scholarship fund aimed at supporting underprivileged children in the Mekong Delta region, giving them the opportunity to attend school.
