A Parent’s Reflection
The strong collaboration between parents and the school is a key factor in achieving success in education, as the proverb says: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
At Vinschool Thăng Long, we deeply appreciate the companionship of parents, grandparents, and families in educational activities. Their involvement ensures a unified approach in conveying culture and values to our Vinsers.
Vinschool Thăng Long sincerely appreciates the dedicated contributions of parents in school-wide events. Participating in the Spring Festival this January, parents shared their memorable experiences while accompanying students and the school in a special cultural highlight:
France – Vietnam: A Cultural Fusion at Vinschool Thăng Long’s Spring Festival 2025
At the Vinschool Thăng Long Spring Festival, class 1A1 proudly showcased outfits that beautifully blended the cultural essence of both France and Vietnam, reflecting a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, as well as the cherished values of both nations.
One of the standout elements was the French Princess’s attire, which seamlessly combined a traditional French dress with a Vietnamese khăn xếp (headdress)—a powerful symbol of Vietnamese culture. The elegantly crafted French dress, with its soft fabrics and sophisticated tailoring, was gracefully paired with the Vietnamese khăn xếp, adding a touch of traditional charm and highlighting the beauty of Vietnamese femininity.
For the French King, the outfit featured a stunning blend of the Vietnamese áo dài, a symbol of grace and elegance, and the French royal crown, an emblem of regal prestige. The flowing lines of the Vietnamese áo dài honored the country’s rich traditions, while the royal crown carried the grandeur of French heritage, creating a strikingly noble and refined look.
During Tet 2025, this cultural fusion of French attire, Vietnamese khăn xếp, áo dài, and the French royal crown not only celebrated the beauty of both cultures but also conveyed a profound message of friendship, unity, and a shared vision for a peaceful and prosperous future.
