A Day of Adventure: What Did Grade 2 Vinsers Learn?

On March 5th, Grade 2 Vinsers had an exciting and enriching day at Chimi Farm, Dong Anh, Hanoi! Let’s take a look at what they discovered and learned that day:

Shadow Puppet Station – The Magic of Light and Shadows: Vinsers applied their science lessons about light and shadows. Not only did they explain how shadows are created, but they also used their creativity to design and perform engaging shadow puppet plays.

Science Discovery Station – Hands-On Real-Life Lessons: Our little scientists became characters from a famous Vietnamese folk tale, “Tam and Cam.” They practiced picking the right tools to separate rice from husks and conducted experiments on dissolvable mixtures using colored powders and water.

Math Station – Conquering Puzzles: Vinsers practiced calculating the perimeter and area of 2D shapes through activities like sack races, finding Tangram puzzle pieces, and assembling them to meet specific requirements.

Farmer 4.0 Station – Connecting with Nature: Activities such as catching fish, planting trees, harvesting fruits, and feeding goats and rabbits helped students enhance their observation skills, quick reflexes, teamwork, and dexterity. They also learned the values of caring for animals, appreciating nature, and respecting hard work.
