In the "Exploring Nature" learning theme, the children had the opportunity to understand the difference between "living" and "non-living" things through observation and image collection.

Every child is a “born explorer,” filled with thousands of “why” and “how” questions, eager to explore and learn about themselves and the world around them. The children not only identified but also explained why an object is considered living or non-living based on characteristics such as growth, reproduction, respiration, nutrition, excretion, and movement.

During the experiential activities, the children carefully observed and posed interesting questions like: “Can this pebble grow?”, “Does this ball need nutrients?”, “Can the tree breathe?”, “Can the cat have babies?”… From these questions, they gradually gained a clearer understanding of the concept of “living” and “non-living” things, allowing them to quickly identify, name, and classify them. Through detailed observation and memory, the children created drawings and “notes” about “living” and “non-living” things through the lens of young scientists.

This activity not only helped the children develop essential scientific qualities such as concentration, attention, and perseverance, but also enhanced their thinking skills through observation, comparison, differentiation, and reasoning. The children not only acquired the necessary skills for Science but also applied them to other subjects, preparing for future grades and equipping themselves with daily life skills. This is a crucial foundation for future scientists.
