Vinschool opens a multi-dimensional dialogue with parents on education in the AI era at the “AI for the Future” symposium

Last week, parents and students joined experts to explore the role of artificial intelligence in education and Vinschool’s approach to developing AI competencies at the “AI for the Future: Curiosity, Creativity, and Responsibility” symposium held at Vinschool Golden River.

The event is part of Vinschool’s AI Education Program rollout for the 2025–2026 school year, designed to strengthen school – family partnership in preparing students to thrive in the digital age. The symposium created a multi-dimensional dialogue, connecting parents, experts, teachers, and students through a series of interactive activities – from keynote insights and school presentations, to a three-way panel discussion, and hands-on learning sessions led directly by Vinsers.

AI is not a tool that replaces humans – It is a thinking partner
Through in-depth sharing from experts, parents gained a clearer understanding of “intelligence” in the age of AI, the competencies students need to navigate a digital world, and how Vinschool equips learners with comprehensive AI literacy—helping them turn AI into an effective “learning partner.”
A key highlight is that Vinschool does not teach AI as a standalone subject or merely train students to use AI tools. Instead, Vinschool integrates AI Competency Framework across the curriculum, developing four core mindsets (design thinking, computational thinking, systems thinking, and critical & creative thinking), strengthening three vital competency strands (Understanding AI, Types of AI, Responsible Use of AI), and cultivating digital citizenship. This empowers students to confidently navigate technology and engage with AI as a thinking partner to drive meaningful, positive change.
When students become the “explainers,” expanding parents’ perspectives on AI
One of the most remarkable aspects of the symposium was the four student-led breakout sessions. In each room, Vinsers not only presented their knowledge but also analyzed, debated, and answered parents’ questions about how they apply AI in their daily learning. These sessions provided parents with a clear picture of how Vinschool nurtures students’ mindset, skills, and confidence.
