This advisory program serves as a critical foundation, preparing students to compete successfully for admission to top global universities.
Over the past two months, the Vinschool Academic Advisory team has implemented a comprehensive, multi-tiered support strategy, integrating international counseling tools and methodologies to tailor the most effective learning pathway for each student:
- INFORMATION & ORIENTATION SEMINARS: Students and parents were provided with in-depth insights into the IGCSE/A-Level subjects, and introduced to Vinschool’s advanced academic approaches such as academic thinking, independent research skills, and strategic profile building for competitive university applications.

TRANSITION DAY – REAL ACADEMIC EXPERIENCES: Through direct interaction with Heads of Department and subject teachers, students gained a clear understanding of each subject’s characteristics, teaching methods, and learning outcomes, empowering them to confidently choose the right subject combination aligned with their personal interests and career goals.
- 1-ON-1 PERSONALIZED COUNSELING – INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC GUIDANCE: Each student participated in a one-on-one session with a professional Academic Advisor, who used international assessment tools to unlock potential, assess readiness, and recommend an optimal subject strategy in light of the rapidly evolving university admission criteria in Vietnam and around the world.
This series of activities not only helps students choose the right subjects but also prepares them early for the rigorous demands of international curricula—building confidence and clarity as they transition to higher academic levels.
The outcomes of last year’s academic advisory program reflect its success and effectiveness:
- 142 students achieved perfect A – A scores* in their IGCSE/A-Level exams.
- Over one-third of Grade 12 students received admission offers from top global universities.
