The First 90 Days: Luna Class’s Journey of Adaptation and Discovery
The first three months in the classroom are truly unforgettable for our youngest learners in the Luna class. The journey begins with tears and hurried goodbyes at the gate, gradually transforming into confident strides into the classroom and a self-assured wave goodbye. These three months are not just about settling into a new environment; they represent a powerful transformation where each child discovers, adapts, and grows at their unique pace.
In the early days, the little ones quietly observe their surroundings. Every new sound, light, and face is a novel experience. Slowly, that changes: they start to point, seeking eye contact with the teacher for reassurance. Soon, they’re trying things out, like pouring water into a bottle. Even if they spill, they learn to self-correct the next time.

Play, which was once based solely on instinct, begins to take on real meaning. When your child helps the teacher “deliver gifts for Teddy’s birthday,” they are refining their gross and fine motor skills while simultaneously learning to share, cooperate, and collaborate with peers.

At times, they spend hours with dolls, feeding and grooming them, and putting them to sleep. While an adult might simply see imitation, the child is actually practicing empathy, exploring emotional expression, and rehearsing their very first social interactions.

They learn to listen, wait their turn, and respond when called. They develop a sense of routine and security in their new environment, naturally participating in learning activities with enthusiasm, all through the magic of play.
From those tentative first steps, our little Luna students have emerged stronger, more confident, and more caring. Every game, every ordinary moment is a vital part of their natural, joyful journey of growth, a journey guided by Vinschool teachers with love, patience, and the fundamental belief that every child possesses the potential to shine in their own unique way.
