“Headlines like ‘How to live a joyful, happy life’ or ‘The secret to having a joyful life’ are no longer strange to anyone. Such content is available on a regular basis in self-improvement books or motivational videos on YouTube. But one day, I suddenly asked the question, ‘Is such content true or not? Does joy mean happiness? Are people misusing or even wrongly equating these two concepts?’ These questions have become a strong source of motivation for me to study the topic further.

“Finding evidence for my project is not easy when ‘happiness’ is different from each political and religious viewpoint. Not to mention that combining it with convincing arguments in a coherent manner is really a big challenge. Moreover, the rush of editing deadlines during semester exams made the process more problematic. But I believe with the help of Ms. Vui and Mr. Minh, the project will be much better.

“In addition to the project’s content such as the concepts of ‘happiness’ or ‘joy’, I have myself also improved various soft skills. The most obvious change is in my ability to present much better than before. Moreover, I also have access to in-depth scientific resources that contribute to improving the academic quality of the project.”
