System Qualifier Round Innovation Challenge 2024 – Vinsers Confidently Present Green Transformation Initiatives
At the System Qualifier Round of the Innovation Challenge 2024, 76 outstanding teams showcased innovative science projects with high practical applications, addressing the theme “Green Transformation”. These projects proposed sustainable and groundbreaking solutions for the future across three categories: Natural Sciences, Technology – Engineering – IT, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. Among them, 21 projects were presented live before a professional judging panel, while the remaining 55 were defended online.
To prepare for their presentations, participants had the opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills through six training sessions with Vinschool teachers and lecturers from Hanoi National University of Education. These sessions focused on research processes, identifying reliable sources, and time management in project execution.
During the qualifier round, contestants demonstrated significant progress in implementing their research projects, from data collection and selecting research methodologies to presenting results in a logical and creative manner. Notable projects included the development of a fluorescent aptamer sensor for rapid and accurate detection of Monkeypox (MPOX), a neighborhood interlinked fire alarm system, and an online platform encouraging eco-friendly consumption habits for students in Bình Thạnh District. With compelling and impressive presentations, 23 outstanding teams have officially advanced to the finals.
“Participating in the Innovation Challenge has given me hands-on experience in executing a scientific research project, from selecting a suitable topic to following a structured research process. After receiving feedback from the judges, I have learned valuable lessons for the upcoming finals, such as improving data analysis to align better with practical applications and delivering clear, persuasive presentations,” shared Vinser Nguyễn Mạnh Đức.
Let’s look back at the excellent performances of Vinsers during the qualifier round and eagerly await the impressive presentations from the 23 finalist teams at the Grand Finale, scheduled for March 2025 at Vinschool Smart City and Vinschool Ocean Park 2!
