[Responsive Parenting Season 2 – Stage 3] Workshop Series Across 14 Vinschool Campuses: When Parents Practice Transformation To Grow Alongside Their Children

Tuesday, 26/05/2026, 18:05 (GMT+7)

From March to May 2026, parents across 14 Vinschool campuses nationwide participated in hands-on parenting workshops under Stage 3 – “Transformative Parenting – Mom and Dad, I’m Growing Up!” as part of the Responsive Parenting 2025–2026 journey.

While the March 2026 system-wide seminar provided professional insights into child development and the inevitable transformation parents go through while accompanying their children, the campus-based workshop series was designed as a practical learning space where parents could discuss, experience, and directly practice situations that help them gradually apply self-transformation skills in their daily interactions with their children.

Grounded in developmental psychology and neuroscience, the Stage 3 workshops focused on common parenting challenges that arise as children experience changes in emotions, cognition, and their growing need for self-expression and independence. Through real-life scenarios and guided activities facilitated by Vinschool’s School Psychology specialists, parents had the opportunity to directly practice active listening, emotional validation instead of focusing solely on correcting behaviors, while also learning how to establish healthy boundaries and maintain positive family connections.

“What impressed me most was that parents were not just listening to theories, but were able to directly practice simulated communication situations with their children. After the workshop, I started listening more when my child shared their feelings instead of rushing to solve the problem for them, and I realized my child became much more open,” shared Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyền, a Vinschool Star City parent.

“I especially remember the ‘Two Chairs’ exercise because it helped me better understand my own emotions and how past experiences may influence the way I interact with my child today. The workshop felt highly practical and easy to apply rather than being purely theoretical,” shared Ms. Đặng Thị Hồng Hạnh, a Vinschool The Harmony parent.

To revisit the practice exercises from the Stage 3 workshop series, parents are invited to join the “Responsive Parenting” Facebook group exclusively for Vinschool parents.

Launched in 2024 to equip parents with the knowledge, skills, and emotional readiness needed throughout their parenting journey, Responsive Parenting is a family education initiative jointly developed by Vinschool’s School Psychology Department and leading psychology experts. The program offers multiple forms of support for parents, from seminars and workshops to the Responsive Parenting online discussion and consultation community on Facebook.

In Season 2, implemented during the 2025–2026 academic year, Responsive Parenting was designed around the “Emotional Map” framework — a science-based and empathetic three-stage journey that supports parents in regaining personal balance while nurturing strong and loving connections with their children. While Stage 1 focused on helping parents reconnect with themselves and cultivate inner peace, Stage 2 strengthened emotional resilience and the ability to recover from parenting pressures, and Stage 3 expanded the journey toward transforming the parent-child relationship, helping parents learn how to stay connected with their children throughout different stages of growth.
