[Responsive Parenting Season 2 – Stage 2] Being A Resilient Parent – Strengthening Inner Resilience On The Parenting Journey
Amid the pressures of modern life, the journey of parenting can sometimes feel like steering a boat through turbulent storms. Have you ever found yourself wondering:
- Why are we so easily overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or experiencing parental burnout?
- How can we truly recover after emotionally challenging moments?
- How can unresolved experiences from the past avoid becoming barriers to connecting with our children in the present?
These questions were thoughtfully addressed at the seminar “Parental Resilience”, part of Stage 2 of Responsive Parenting Season 2, co-organized by Vinschool and Vinmec International General Hospital.
At the seminar, parents were introduced to evidence-based scientific insights into Resilience—the capacity to recover and grow through the challenges and pressures of parenting. By exploring the neurological foundations of resilience and identifying barriers rooted in past experiences, the program offered practical tools to help parents proactively release stress, strengthen their inner resources, and continue their parenting journey with steadiness, clarity, and fulfillment.
We warmly invite parents to watch the full seminar via the video below:
Vinschool parents are also welcome to join the Facebook group “Responsive Parenting” to access practice exercises from the “Being a Resilient Parent” workshop series.

Launched in 2024 with the aim of equipping parents with essential knowledge, skills, and a resilient mindset for the parenting journey, the Responsive Parenting program is developed by the Vinschool School Psychology Department in collaboration with leading psychology experts. The program offers a wide range of support formats, including seminars, workshops, and an online discussion and consultation community on Facebook.
In Season 2, Responsive Parenting is designed around the “Emotional Map” framework—an empathetic, science-based pathway that helps parents restore inner balance and nurture lasting, loving connections with their children. Stage 2: “Parental Resilience” focuses on strengthening parents’ capacity for self-recovery, enabling them to recognize and regulate stress, build psychological endurance, and maintain steadiness while accompanying their children through life’s changes.
