Outstanding Teams Emerge At The Northern Regional Final Of Vinschool AeroGreen Hackathon 2026
Last week, nearly 70 teams from secondary and high schools across Northern Vietnam took on the challenge of operating drones and solving a simulated “space exploration” mission at the Northern Regional Final of the Vinschool AeroGreen Hackathon 2026.
Through a series of demanding tasks—such as navigating obstacles, avoiding restricted zones, collecting data, and optimizing energy use—students demonstrated technical thinking, programming skills, teamwork, and resilience in a dynamic and competitive environment.
After exciting rounds of competition, the Northern Regional Final recognized the most outstanding teams in two categories:
First Prize:
🥇 Secondary School Category: Three of Spade (Vinschool Times City)
🥇 High School Category: Sandbox (Vinschool Times City)
Second Prize:
🥈 Secondary School Category: NNUyen_No1 (Nguyễn Như Uyên Secondary School) and 5 Squat (Vinschool Ocean Park)
🥈 High School Category: Fschool Bắc Ninh (FPT Bắc Ninh High School)
Third Prize:
🥉 Secondary School Category: Coconut Skull (New School Secondary School) and MTP_02 (Vinschool Metropolis)
🥉 High School Category: MT02 (Team from Vinschool Ocean Park and Nguyễn Du High School – Hải Dương)
The two champion teams have secured spots at the Enjoy AI 2026 Grand Final—an international robotics and AI competition organized annually by the Federation of Global Youth Artificial Intelligence (FGYAI)—to be held in Shanghai, China. There, they will compete on an international stage and connect with teams from many countries.
In addition, the judging panel selected two outstanding participants—Nguyễn Chí Hải Anh (Class 8A8, Vinschool Ocean Park) and Nguyễn Minh Trí (Class 12A1, Vinschool Times City)—to receive full scholarships for a technology training program in Beijing, China, organized by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) under the Ministry of Education of China.
“The final round required teams to execute each step carefully, from assembling the equipment to controlling the drone on the competition field. Through this challenge, I had the opportunity to strengthen teamwork, manage technical precision, and make quick decisions in a real competition environment,” shared Vinser Lê Nguyễn Minh Tú.
