AeroGreen Hackathon 2026: Students Analyze Drone Technology Challenges Through Intensive Training Activities
Over 400 secondary school students from both Northern and Southern regions joined the intensive training sessions of AeroGreen Hackathon 2026 in March.
More than just preparation for the upcoming competition rounds, these training activities gave students a chance to explore drones from the perspective of a complete technological system—where programming, engineering design, and device operation are interconnected to solve simulated environmental and sustainability challenges.
During the training, Mr. Huỳnh Đức Duy – Founder of Drone Soccer Vietnam guided students through the mechanics and design aspects of drone programming, assembly standards, and safety check procedures before operation. This helped students understand that developing and applying UAV technology (unmanned aerial vehicles) requires not only technical skills but also precision, responsibility, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Mr. Đỗ Thế Đăng – Head of Trade, Vietnam Aerospace & UAV Network provided a practical perspective on drone applications in daily life and industry, as well as trends in UAV development in Vietnam and globally. His insights helped the teams better grasp the potential of unmanned aerial vehicles in addressing environmental and sustainable development challenges.
“The training helped our team see how to optimize drone operations to ensure technical stability while meeting environmental objectives. When we return to our group meetings, we’ll consolidate our ideas and select the most feasible solutions to continue developing our project,” shared Vinser Hoàng Khang.
Let’s revisit some of the memorable moments from students during the AeroGreen Hackathon 2026 training!
AeroGreen Hackathon 2026 is an academic playground for secondary school students across Vietnam who are passionate about technology. The competition connects programming, engineering design, and sustainable thinking in one challenge. With the theme “Code the Wings – Change the Sky,” students embark on a journey to design and operate drone systems to solve simulated environmental and sustainability tasks.
Through the competition rounds, students not only strengthen their algorithmic thinking, system design, and problem-solving skills but also gain exposure to cutting-edge technology fields such as AI, Robotics, aerospace, and green tech. The top-performing teams will have the opportunity to be nominated for Enjoy AI 2026 in Shanghai (China), where Vietnamese students can network and compete with the global youth tech community.
