[Math Nexus] Nearly 6,900 students ready to enter the school-level round on January 10 & 11
Thursday, 08/01/2026, 19:01 (GMT+7)
After two weeks of officially opening registration, the Math Nexus Academic Mathematics Competition has received an enthusiastic response from Vinsers across the entire system. Nearly 6,900 students have registered to participate, demonstrating the strong appeal of a new academic arena—where mathematical thinking, analytical skills, and logical reasoning are nurtured and valued beyond simply arriving at the correct answer. The competition’s wide-reaching impact is clearly reflected in the impressive participation across all grade levels:
2,110 students in Grades 2–3 competing in the Nexus Beginner category
2,111 students in Grades 4–5 competing in the Nexus Explorer category
1,844 students in Grades 6–8 competing in the Nexus Creator category
797 students in Grades 9–10 competing in the Nexus Master category
On January 10 (for Nexus Beginner and Nexus Explorer) and January 11 (for Nexus Creator and Nexus Master), Vinsers will officially enter the school-level round, competing individually in a focused testing format. During this round, students will tackle mathematical thinking challenges designed to assess a wide range of mathematical competencies involved in reaching a solution—such as problem analysis, identifying logical relationships between given data, reasoning and inference, generalizing patterns, and proving results.
Rather than simply searching for the correct answer, contestants are encouraged to engage in a true “battle of minds.” Through their solutions, students are required to demonstrate their understanding of the nature of the problem and explain how they selected the most appropriate problem-solving strategy.
Wishing all Vinsers thorough preparation and strong confidence as they take on the Math Nexus school-level round this weekend!
Students and parents are encouraged to follow the Vinschool Fanpage for the latest updates on the competition.

Math Nexus is a specialized academic playground for students who are passionate about Mathematics from Grades 2 to 10 across the entire Vinschool system, where mathematical thinking is placed at the core. Math Nexus encourages students to challenge themselves through diverse forms of mathematical reasoning, rather than merely memorizing formulas to solve familiar problem types.
