Innovation Challenge 2025–2026: 7-Day Countdown To The System-Level Preliminary Round

Saturday, 10/01/2026, 07:01 (GMT+7)

On January 17, the Preliminary Round of Innovation Challenge 2025–2026 will officially take place, bringing together 113 innovative science projects by secondary Vinsers from across the Vinschool system—marking a 70% increase in participation compared to the previous academic year.

Moving beyond idea proposals, these young researchers will be challenged to present and defend their projects before a panel of expert judges—an experience designed to build confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in real-world contexts.

The projects span three main fields: Technology – Engineering – IT (30 projects), Natural Sciences (52 projects), and Social & Behavioral Sciences (31 projects), reflecting the diversity in how students approach global and community challenges. Many well-developed topics demonstrate Vinsers’ academic mindset—from interdisciplinary connections and innovative thinking in developing models and technologies to progressively transforming research ideas into solutions with practical value for the community.

“Innovation Challenge 2025–2026 showcases many creative research ideas and fresh approaches adopted by students during project implementation. The projects cover a wide range of scientific fields, integrate interdisciplinary knowledge, maintain strong community connections, and focus on solving real-world problems with clear social impact. Notably, some projects also involve collaboration with external partners during the research process, helping enhance applicability and academic depth,” shared Dr. Trần Mai Phương – Principal of Vinschool Ocean Park 2 Primary, Secondary & High School, and Head of the Organizing Committee.

After more than two months of launch and school-level preliminary rounds, Innovation Challenge 2025–2026 will officially enter the system-level Preliminary Round on January 17, before selecting the most outstanding projects to advance to the Final Round on March 29.

Join us in counting down to the system-level Preliminary Round and stay tuned for further updates on Innovation Challenge 2025–2026, continuously shared on the Vinschool fanpage!
