Closing The Z PITCH 4 Grand Finale: When Heritage Values Are Empowered By The Entrepreneurial Mindset Of The Young Generation

After nearly four months of dynamic competition, Z PITCH 4 has officially come to a close, leaving behind vivid impressions of a new generation of young “start-ups” — students who not only nurture their passion for business from an early age, but also demonstrate a deep understanding and creative approach to Vietnamese cultural values. With the theme “Culture: Preservation and Innovation” and the message “Revive the Past, Reinvent the Future,” the Grand Finale became a stage where heritage-inspired ideas were brought to life through the language of technology and modern economic thinking.

At the Z PITCH Grand Finale, audiences witnessed a series of thrilling presentations as the Top 5 teams unveiled their tangible products and well-structured business models, meeting rigorous standards of feasibility and market potential. The contestants’ composure during the Q&A sessions, along with their ability to convincingly respond to challenging questions from the panel of investors and judges, reflected remarkable growth — both in project management mindset and real-world execution skills.

“Z PITCH is not merely a competition, but a true ‘incubator’ for resilience and courage. It encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and shift from being observers to becoming doers. More importantly, the competition fosters an ecosystem that connects students who share a passion for entrepreneurship, opening up opportunities for collaboration and future career development,” shared Đặng Thanh Hằng, representative of the Champion team MONOPOLY, reflecting on the journey’s significance.

About Z PITCH

Z PITCH is an annual entrepreneurship competition organized by The VZNIS Business Club (Vinschool). With the theme “Revive the Past, Reinvent the Future,” Z PITCH Season 4 encouraged students to explore and innovate upon Vietnamese cultural values across six fields: traditional craftsmanship, cultural tourism, preservation of intangible cultural heritage, traditional cuisine, classical music, and cultural education. Throughout this journey, students not only learned how to build businesses, but also how to appreciate heritage, rethink innovation, and create meaningful value for the community.

At Z PITCH 4, teams went through a well-structured selection and development pathway, beginning with open registration, followed by a series of in-depth workshops on business modeling, marketing, and financial management; 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with industry experts; a Booth Fair for model showcases and idea pitching; a TVC production round; and finally, a head-to-head competition among the Top 5 outstanding teams at the Grand Finale.
