[Alumni Corner] Vinser Nguyễn Thị Ánh Xuân: From Vinschool To Her First Marks In The Marketing Industry
Ánh Xuân, an alumna from Vinschool Central Park, not only earned a full scholarship in Digital Marketing at RMIT University but has also continued to showcase her talent, resilience, and passion for communications through a series of remarkable achievements in university. She was the Champion of the Business Global Innovation Challenge 2024, the First Runner-up of Chief Marketing Officer 2024, and the Third Prize winner of IC Master 2024: The Outstanding Communicator.
For Xuân, success isn’t just about awards but also the impact she creates for the community. Beyond excelling in academics and competitions, she launched a TikTok channel sharing scholarship tips and her growth journey. With a relatable, practical, and creative approach, it quickly amassed 1.5 million views, inspiring young people and guiding them in their academic and career paths.
Reflecting on the factors that have contributed to her success, Ánh Xuân shared: “The early career-oriented activities at Vinschool helped me discover my passion for communications and develop a clear direction to pursue it. I am deeply grateful to my academic advisors, who always stood by my side and guided me in building a well-structured study plan aligned with my personal goals.”
Looking back on her journey at Vinschool, Xuân believes that every extracurricular activity played a crucial role in shaping her confidence, resilience, and essential skills in the field of communications and marketing. From being a keynote speaker at the “Breaking Through at 18” event at Vinschool Central Park, which gathered an audience of 3,000, to interning at VTV7’s IELTS Face-off, founding the Novelle Project in collaboration with Reading Vietnam and Vinschool – a community initiative with nearly 500,000 participants, and mentoring students in the Kiến Tạo Scholarship program, each experience was a stepping stone in her growth.
Xuân also shared insights into her university life at RMIT, especially in the demanding field of communications, which requires strong proactiveness. The soft skills she developed during her time at Vinschool – self-learning, research, adaptability, and independence – helped her seamlessly transition into this new environment. These skills have enabled her to confidently tackle challenges, adapt to the evolving communications industry, and continuously innovate. “For me, Vinschool was the foundation that built my holistic thinking, progressive mindset, and the courage to explore new opportunities,” Xuân affirmed.
We wish Ánh Xuân continued success in her journey, spreading positivity and inspiring young minds as they pursue their passions!
