[ALUMNI CORNER] NÔNG ĐỨC ANH – A DEDICATED VINSER ALUMNUS PURSUING HIS PASSION FOR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Three internships at Vinpearl and XanhSM, consecutive placements on the Dean’s List for two academic years at VinUni, Second Prize winner of the Southeast Asia 2023 STR Student Market Study Competition, and a graduate of the Leaders20@VGR young leadership program – these are the standout milestones in the academic and career journey of Nông Đức Anh, a proud Vinser alumnus and final-year student majoring in Customer Experience under the Hospitality Management program at VinUni.

From his high school years at Vinschool, Đức Anh had already shown a strong interest in the hospitality and service industry. Thanks to an educational environment that encouraged students to explore personal interests, develop critical thinking and leadership skills, he gradually shaped his career path through extracurricular activities, skills clubs, one-on-one career counseling, and job shadowing programs organized by the school.

“Having the chance to observe and work directly with customers in a professional hospitality environment as early as Grade 11 helped me strengthen my communication, problem-solving skills, and service mindset – all essential qualities in the service industry. It also gave me a clearer, more realistic view of the career I want to pursue,” shared Đức Anh.

With a strong foundation built at Vinschool and the learning opportunities at VinUni, Đức Anh is steadily moving toward his goal of working for international hotel groups to gain management experience. His long-term vision is to develop a hotel model that proudly showcases Vietnamese identity – where every customer experience reflects professionalism and the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality.
