On May 30, 2024, two Vinsers from Vinschool The Harmony Primary School were honored and proud to have the opportunity to visit the United Nations office in Vietnam, the UN Green House, to participate in UNICEF activities celebrating International Play Day.

Here, they confidently presented the results of the drawings selected by UNICEF in the “Dream Playground” competition, which was launched at the beginning of May.

Tấn Lộc explained the results of the drawing competition organized by UNICEF to encourage children to present their ideas for creative and inclusive playgrounds.

More than 8,000 children from schools across Vietnam participated and submitted their entries for the competition. The judging panel selected 31 outstanding entries that met the criteria to be displayed at the event. It is a great pride that Vinschool The Harmony Primary School had 4 out of the 31 most meaningful drawings chosen for display at the headquarters.

Reflecting on the celebration of the first International Play Day in Vietnam, Ngô Tấn Lộc and Trần Ngọc Minh, students of class 5B2 at Vinschool The Harmony Primary School, pose with their artwork chosen for display at the United Nations headquarters.

The students of Vinschool truly shone with their English communication and presentation skills. Despite standing before high-level state delegates, the Vinsers were very confident, presenting clearly and coherently while maintaining their natural, adorable primary school student charm.

Teachers and students of Vinschool The Harmony Primary School felt deeply moved, appreciative, and grateful for the opportunity to experience the sophisticated and civilized environment of the United Nations. We hope that in the future, the students will have more opportunities to shine, participate in, and visit places where they can freely think, create in their own way, and bring great meaning to the community.
