A Day of Discovery at Bat Trang Pottery Village for Explore Summer Camp Vinsers
On June 18, 2026, Vinsers from the Explore Summer Camp at Vinschool Smart City Primary School visited and participated in various creative hands-on activities at the ancient Bat Trang Pottery Village. The field trip offered students a wonderful opportunity to discover the beauty of traditional ceramics firsthand and unleash their creativity within a rustic artistic space.
Exploring a Cultural Heritage Space
At the Center for Vietnamese Craft Village Quintessence, the young learners observed the unique architecture and discovered the rich cultural features of the site. This experience helped students hone their observation, communication, and civic behavior skills in public spaces. Moving on to the “Bat Trang: Past and Present” exhibition space, Vinsers learned about the history of the craft village and identified ancient pottery-making tools, cultivating their environmental awareness and deepening their appreciation for the country’s traditional craftsmanship.
Unleashing Creativity: Transforming into “Junior Artisans”
The highlight of the trip was a series of hands-on creative workshops where each student directly tackled two challenges. The children unleashed their imagination through a colorful ceramic mosaic art activity and experienced molding clay on a pottery wheel alongside master artisans. Beyond creating personalized masterpieces, the students enhanced their dexterity, aesthetic appreciation, and creative thinking through each hands-on endeavor.
