EDURUN 2025 – Vinschool Smart City Joining Hands for a Better Life

In response to the EDURUN 2025 Run initiated by the Vinschool Education System, Vinschool Smart City Secondary School organized a running event that attracted over 1,000 participants. Over 1,500 shirts were purchased to support the cause, and nearly 40 million VND was donated directly to the EDURUN 2025 Fund during the event.

This year, students, parents, teachers, and staff of Vinschool Smart City Secondary School participated with great enthusiasm and determination, united by the goal: “Running for health, for education, and the community.”

Held at the Japanese Garden in Vinhomes Smart City, Tay Mo Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi, the event began with vibrant performances by students. All participants then joined in a spirited warm-up session before the race officially kicked off. On this occasion, the school leadership also called upon teachers, staff, and parents to join hands in donating, helping to spread the meaningful message of the EDURUN Fund.

Many parents praised the event for its professionalism and attention to safety. According to Ms. Mai Thi Tinh, Principal of Vinschool Smart City Secondary School, “The organizing committee chose the Japanese Garden venue within Vinhomes Smart City, designing four race tracks suitable for all ages and fitness levels. This allowed participants to challenge themselves while enjoying the joy of reaching the finish line.” Surrounded by greenery and designed in the peaceful Zen style of Japan, the race offered not only a chance to improve physical fitness but also a serene, nature-filled environment for relaxation and enjoyment.

With the dedicated guidance of the school’s Physical Education teachers, many students achieved impressive results, demonstrating perseverance and a strong spirit of training. In the Grade 6 category, Quang Minh (6B2) and Thuy Tien (6A10) took first place in the boys’ and girls’ races, respectively. In Grade 7, Le Anh (7A9) and Thai An (7B1) won their races. For Grades 8 through 12, Minh Tri (10A2) won the boys’ race, and Linh Chi (8B2) won the girls’ race with an outstanding performance.

EDURUN is an annual charity run initiated by the Vinschool Education System with the mission of promoting health, education, and community spirit. The event always receives enthusiastic support from parents, students, and staff. This year, the EDURUN Fund received nearly 40 million VND in donations from the Vinschool Smart City Secondary School community. Additionally, each EDURUN shirt purchased or every race completed on the 84Race platform contributed 50,000 VND directly to the Fund. In total, 1,527 shirts were registered for purchase, and over 1,000 runners signed up to participate in the event.

The EDURUN 2025 race at Vinschool Smart City Secondary School was not only a meaningful opportunity for physical exercise but also a special occasion for families to bond, spread positivity, and recharge with energy for the days of learning and work ahead.
