[Responsive Parenting Season 2 – Stage 3] Transformative Parenting: As Children Grow, Parents’ Familiar Ways Of Supporting Them May Fall Out Of Sync

Join us for Stage 3 of Responsive Parenting Season 2, “Transformative Parenting – Mom and Dad, I’m Growing Up!”, as we explore the important transformations parents may need to make while growing alongside their children.

Through multidimensional perspectives, the seminar helps parents understand that many intense reactions in children are a natural part of the growing-up process. From there, parents can recognise familiar “reaction loops” and shift from emotional responses to more intentional connection.

Launched in 2024 to equip parents with knowledge, skills, and a confident mindset for the parenting journey, Responsive Parenting is an initiative by the Vinschool School Psychology Department in collaboration with trusted psychology experts. The programme offers multiple forms of guidance and support for parents, from seminars and workshops to the Facebook online discussion and consultation community, Responsive Parenting.

In Season 2, Responsive Parenting is designed around the principle of an “Emotional Map” — a three-stage journey grounded in science and empathy, helping parents regain balance within themselves while nurturing lasting love and connection with their children.
