Responsive Parenting Season 2 – Stage 2: Introducing The Seminar “Parental Resilience”
Following the successful completion of Stage 1 – Parental Happiness, with the core message that “Parents’ happiness is a prerequisite for children’s healthy, sustainable emotional development and lifelong well-being”, Responsive Parenting Season 2 now moves forward with Stage 2: “Parental Resilience.”
This stage places a strong focus on strengthening parents’ inner resources and enhancing resilience—the capacity to recover, adapt, and remain emotionally steady while accompanying children through their growth journey.
Happiness is a shared aspiration for all parents. Yet alongside joy and fulfillment, parenting also comes with ongoing pressures, expectations, and emotional fatigue. Much like a spring that needs elasticity to return to balance after being compressed, parents, too, need resilience to maintain inner stability and serve as a secure, steady anchor for their children.
At the Stage 2 Seminar, parents will explore three core areas—moving from awareness and understanding to practical application:
- From “Burnout” to “Understanding”
Parents will take part in a Parental Burnout assessment to better recognize their own levels of overload through an expert-informed lens. This process highlights the role of resilience in parenting and its impact on children’s emotional well-being. - From “Pressure” to “Balance”
Experts will unpack key psychological mechanisms that deplete emotional resources and introduce strategies for emotional regulation to help parents sustain balance and inner strength. - From “Theory” to “Practice”
Through interactive workshops and guided psychological exercises, parents will translate insights into practical skills for self-care and empathetic communication with their children.
The workshop brings together a panel of leading experts:
- Dr. Nguyen Thi Dieu Anh – Clinical Psychologist, Lecturer, Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City
- MSc, MD, Specialist Level I, Resident Doctor Nguyen Trung Nghia – Head of Psychiatry Department, Vinmec International General Hospital
- Dr. Khuc Nang Toan – School Psychology Specialist, Director of the School Psychology Program, Vinschool Education System
Date & Time: 9:00–12:00, Sunday, January 18, 2026
Venue: Multi-purpose Hall, Vinschool Grand Park (Cambridge Campus), Long Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
As a cornerstone activity of Stage 2, the January 18 workshop supports parents in gradually building sustainable inner strength to accompany their children with clarity and resilience.
