On “Anti-Bullying Day” (November 7), Vinschool Smart City Secondary School students participated in various activities to convey meaningful messages.

The most popular activity was the “Emotions Box.” Vinschool Smart City Student Council members prepared and decorated a pink-themed pledge board and a charming “Emotions Box.” On Anti-Bullying Day (November 7), the board and box were placed in a visible spot near the main school gate, where students could easily see and participate.

Before the first class, students gathered to sign a pledge to prevent bullying at Vinschool. They also shared their thoughts and feelings about friendship and discussed ways to support peers in need. In addition to the students, teachers contributed messages expressing their hopes that “Vinschool Smart City students will always be united, compassionate, and supportive, fostering a friendly and connected learning environment.”

In addition to the “Emotions Box,” Vinschool Smart City also launched “Wear Pink Day” on Thursday, November 7. Teachers and students, with smiles and excitement, wore pink shirts featuring playful designs, showing their strong support for anti-bullying.

The anti-bullying campaign included two key initiatives: “Friendship Stories” and the “Study Buddies” program. In the “Friendship Stories” segment, students created short videos focused on anti-bullying themes. These impactful videos were then shared on the Vinschool Smart City Student Council Facebook group. Although the campaign lasted only a week, many meaningful videos were submitted, conveying messages such as “Let’s make Vinschool a safe, friendly, and kind place,” “Building a civilized, bully-free school environment,” and “Vinschool Smart City Secondary School – a loving, united, and supportive community”,… This activity not only raised awareness but also helped students develop valuable video production skills for the future.

The “Study Buddies” program lasts for one month, allowing students to select a peer for mutual study and progress. Alternatively, homeroom teachers may pair students to academically support each other. Exceptional buddy pairs will be recognized and awarded.

Despite their busy school schedules, students at Vinschool Smart City actively participate in various school-initiated programs, not just “Anti-Bullying Day.” This shows that Vinschool students not only excel academically but are also dynamic, creative, open to new ideas, and caring towards their friends and teachers.
