Sport Week 2025 at Vinschool Imperia Primary School has officially come to an end, leaving behind vibrant moments filled with enthusiasm, determination, and the strong spirit of sportsmanship among Vinsers from Grades 1 to 5.
More than just a physical fitness event, Sport Week 2025 served as a meaningful educational playground where students strengthened their physical abilities while developing teamwork, confidence, discipline, and competitive spirit – essential qualities for their holistic growth.
SWIMMING – BUILDING CONFIDENCE FROM THE VERY FIRST STROKES
In the swimming events, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students demonstrated remarkable progress in water-based movement skills. Through competition, they practiced coordinating arm and leg movements, controlling breathing, and improving endurance and flexibility – all fundamental elements of physical development.
More importantly, the swimming competitions helped students cultivate discipline, perseverance, and confidence as they bravely challenged themselves in a competitive yet supportive environment.

Through competitive play, students enhanced their tactical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure – valuable skills not only in sports but also in academic learning and daily life. Sport Week 2025 truly became an ideal environment for young athletes to develop competitive spirit, teamwork, and discipline.

DIVERSE ACTIVITIES – LEARNING THROUGH MOVEMENT
In addition to swimming and basketball, Sport Week 2025 was further energized by various in-class activities, including:

Gomoku (Caro Chess): Developing strategic thinking, observation, and logical reasoning

Jump Rope: Improving coordination, cardiovascular endurance, and stamina

Relay Race: A practical lesson in teamwork, baton passing skills, and reaction speed
These activities not only encouraged active participation but also motivated students to push beyond their limits while learning fair play, cooperation, and mutual support in a healthy competitive environment.
