VINSCHOOL IMPERIA LITTLE BASEBALL: WHEN THE PRACTICE FIELD BECOMES A FAIRY TALE PLAYGROUND

Thursday, 25/12/2025, 12:12 (GMT)

There is an equally important piece of the puzzle for comprehensive child development that is often “overlooked”—physical activity. Movement is not just about being healthy; it is how children think and connect with the world. The Little Baseball class at Vinschool Imperia Kindergarten is one of the “keys” helping children find joy in movement through the engaging “Learning through Play” method.

Let’s visit a lively training session of our “little players” featuring a series of exciting challenges:

⚾ The “Sticky Glove” Challenge: The children transform into talented “ball hunters,” eyes tracking the ball in the air and skillfully using their gloves to “stick” tight to it. This game helps train high concentration and the ability to accurately judge the drop point before making a decisive throw into the target ring.

🚚 The “Fruit Truck” Game: The field turns into a race track as children wear hoops around their bodies, becoming “trucks” full of fruit. The little drivers’ task is to move flexibly and skillfully to protect their goods while dodging incoming flying balls. This is an excellent exercise for whole-body reflexes and spatial awareness.

💫 The “Catching Shooting Stars” Mission: Baseball is a team sport, and this lesson starts with pairing up. One throws, one catches—the children learn to pass the ball rhythmically over obstacles. High-fives or playing Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide roles help them connect and learn effective teamwork.

👾 The “Monster Attack” Battle: The field becomes a fun battlefield for the final challenge. Young Vinsers divide into Gold and Red teams, coordinating to pass the ball from one zone to another to “defeat” the monster together. The game teaches spatial thinking, game rules, and the explosion of joy when scoring together.

“Run-ups” for Comprehensive Development After hours of playing their hearts out, what remains is not just fun, but solid foundational skills:

Gross Motor Skills: Mastering holding the bat, swinging, throwing, and catching with correct posture.

Strategic Thinking: Beginning to understand rules, observing situations, and making quick decisions.

Sportsmanship: Building confidence, courage, and team spirit right from preschool age.

Every lesson is a happy day, helping young Vinsers grow up healthy and active!
