VINNOVATION 2024 – The competition of creativity and humane ideas

“Reading your entries, I can tell that they are beautiful ideas, beautiful because they not only show creativity but are also extremely humane ideas for the lives of Vietnamese people” – Teacher Tran Quoc Tuan, member of the jury of the VINNOVATION 2024 competition, shared when talking about the productions participating in the VINNOVATION creative ideas contest.

Within the programme of Mathematics – Science and Technology Festival organized by Vinschool Ocean Park Secondary and High School, the VINNOVATION Creative Ideas competition received the participation of a large number of students nationwide. After 3 rounds, the Organizing Committee has selected the 5 best ideas out of a total of more than 80 entries sent to the Organizing Committee and advanced to the final round taking place on March 3rd, 2024.

At the final round, the audience was satisfied with impressive presentations and unique ideas, from using robotic arms to sort trash to creating an app to bring usable leftover food to those in need.

Ly Tran Quoc Tin – from Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted, Can Tho shared, “We are very happy to participate in the final round of the Vinnovation competition. We hope that the website we create will provide you with the most comfortable learning moments and Chemistry will no longer be a worry.“

All 5 ideas of the students made it extremely difficult for the judges to choose the winners of the awards. The final results were as follows:

The second prize:

VINNVT 212 team from Hung Yen High School for the Gifted (Hung Yen) and Thang Long High School (Hanoi) with the product “ENABLED Platform”.
Team VINNVT 223 from Vinschool Ocean Park High School (Hanoi) with the product “Application to avoid waste, for exchanging and donating leftover food”.

The third prize:

Team VINNVT 201 from Vinschool Times City High School (Hanoi) with the product “Applying artificial intelligence to the waste treatment system in schools.”
Team VINNVT 123 from Vinschool Imperia High School (Hai Phong) with the product “Automatic sorting line model using AI technology”.
Team VINNVT 178 from Tu Trong Ly Ly High School (Can Tho) with the product “CSW STUDY – website to support self-study of Chemistry according to the 2018 GDPT program and Chemistry in English”.

The contest has ended but unforgettable emotions still remain in the hearts of the audience. We hope the love of Mathematics – science and technology always burns brightly in young generations, see you again in VINNOVATION in the next seasons.
